Visitors!

Hi Folks!

Wow, what a busy weekend!

Yet again the house is upside down! Mummy has decorated the lounge so everything needs to go back where it was. We always seem to be moving stuff here?

We also had a very special visitor today. Norman, a friend of the family since mummy was little. He came in a pick up from which spilled one, two, three, four labradors!  He took them on the yard and with a simple command they all sat at his feet looking up for the next instruction. When he gave permission, they all charged off intothe field with me and Mouse.

I will describe them.
First is Willow, a black elderly lady who for her age is in amazing shape, she is mother to Nandi another black and beatiful female. Nandy, also black, is mother to Xcess (Excess to requirements) who is a stunning golden male and Ali another gorgeous black female with a slightly chocoalte tinge to her coat.

We all ran around the field together, Xcess was very taken with Mouse and kept trying to jump on her which made her cross! It was a beautiful sight to see so many large dogs running around peacefully together in the same place. Mummy commented on Xcess, I have to agree, he is a very handsome dog, and looked in perfect health. Mummy took some photo's of them all, she said will try to find the time to draw them.

We played in the river, I showed Ali where to go under the bridge, Excess soon cottoned on and splashed in the water with us, it was such fun! Nandi came in too, we all manged to get wet except for Willow who was more sensible and kept on the bank. I tried to make friends with Xcess, but he was only interested in Mouse, maybe he didn't want to be associated with a 'common' terrier and preferred the company of his own kind, Mouse is after all half Labrador and is a gun dog. Willow was nice to me though, she remided me of Lordy with her legant but stiff walk and calm disposition. I bet she can tell a tale or two?
