Night Night from Mrs Trumpy Trouser's and her beetle belly!

Hi all I am just sneaking in a last one, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend!
Mine has been fantastic!!!! I have eaten really well today, mummy said I am starting to resemble a beetle (small head big body) true, I am a little well covered at the moment but that is a good thing during these cold wintery days spent on the yard with mummy's daft horses Beavis & Butthead! I have also built up some muscles from play fighting with Mouse, our wrestling matches are a very technical affair with 'holds' and 'grabs' all this requires strength, which considering our size difference take a lot out of a small dog like me. So if I am a little more rotund that usual its muscle...ok?

Back to the subject of eating well, today Chris cleared out the UFO's from the freezer (unidentified freezer objects) sometimes he and mummy have a UFO tea, this was set to be one of them and from the smell of the various items as they thawed out, a fine feast would be on the menu tonight! For breakfast we had venison pate and the usual biscuits (a fine spread for a dog and certainly fit for a labarador who thinks he's a Lord) The smell was delicious and the taste was out of this world, I know Mouse enjoyed hers it was all stuck in her whiskers! For tea we had vegetables which had been cooked in a game stock, some rabbit, hare (given to mummy as a gift to try), pheasant and venison. Oh I was in heaven, if you thought this mornings feast was too god for a dog then you will not believe the standard of what we were treated to tonight! I ate all of my bowl full, every last crumb and run of gravy, even tracing the dribbles down the sides of the bowl with my tongue to make sure absolutelty nothing was left! (Mouse was gutted I hadn't left her anything but from her expression, she didn't expect me to either. Hurry didn't even bother to check...wise old boy)

I had to waddle out of the kitchen with my tummy distended like an airship silently belching on my departure. I heard Chris say "you're welcome 'Trumpy'  I managed to summon up enough energy to make it to the bathroom and a 'three wind dig down' to nest in mummy's clothes next to her in the bath, then fell asleep......

......It is now two hours since I fell asleep in the bathroom, mummy has been up and about, dried her hair with the funny noisy thing she uses to warm the bed, sorted out her work stuff out and Chris has also had a bath! I still feel too full to move, will stay here until I am sent out for last tinkles.

Chris will just have to work around me.

Night night. xx
