As it had been snowing, mummy & Chris shared Wesley to get to work as the roads were too deep and slippery for Chris to drive safely in his car. This meant Chris dropping mummy off at work (after they had been to hay Beavis & Butthead oops, I mean Wizz & Spiderman!) and then driving on to his office with us. Harumph, looks like I am not going to the office with mummy then!
When we arrived at work the office was so cold we had to have the small fan heater going, Mouse and I sat as close as we could! See the picture of us 'hogging' the warmth! We did get told off for hogging' the heat, Chris scalded us for stupidly sitting there so long our noses dried out! Eventually the office did warm up and it was back to normal for us….wait for the postie, hog the radiator, un-plug the secretary's computer, bark through the window from Chris's desk (while he's making tea… jump back down quickly before he comes back…..)

At 5pm we were outside mummy office waiting for her to come out, when she did come I was very pleased to see her and licked her hand to show my pleasure (hoping I might get invited to sit in the front). I did have to climb on Hurry's head to do this, it is a bit of a 'pile on' in Wes' (Wesley the Land Rover)
We 'crunched' in to the yard having driven the back roads, everywhere was still white and frozen, even 'Wes' found the going slippery in places. The horses whinnied at the sight of the Land Rover, Spid & Wizz galloped up their field to the fence line 'egging' Stella & Lacy on (the two neighbouring horses) to do the same. They impatiently paced and snorted defiantly as we slowly 'crunched' past them.
Once parked at the beautiful archway entrance of the yard, we were let out and hurried to assist in the feed room, sometimes there are carrots to steal, today was not that day. While mummy was measuring and mixing I noticed a small bird flitting about in the eaves. We all stopped to look, on closer inspection we noticed there were two, a fat round Robin and a teeny weeny little Wren. Mummy was concerned about them possibly being trapped but realised (after a thorough check) that they could escape if they really wanted to. The feed room is a good place for a hungry bird, lots of horse feed morsels and a fine selection of eight legged insects! I don't know why she worries as much as she does, I am sure she prefers animals to people.
