Hi all,
I have been meaning to tell you about the 'sausage dog' that regularly visits mummy's work, I have met her once, she is really nice and like me, is well known amongst the staff. I must admit that I was a little nervous at first, I have never seen such a small, long and sleek dog before! I knew mummy would be excited, (she always is about small pretty dogs), her name is Ella, she is nearly three years old and is tiny next to me, (making me look quite big, which I like!).
Ella has a very unusual shape compared to me and Mouse, her legs are very small and short, her body is like a long slender tan coloured sausage, even her beak is long and slender tapering to small inquisitive wet nose which matches her small twinkling eyes, to finish her off at the other end is a long skinny little tail like a 'weeny' whip which wags in time with her sashaying gait. The only contrast to the 'smallness' are her ears, they are (like Mouse's) quite large and (like Mouse's) hang down like curtains framing her cheeky looking face. Mine are the complete opposite to this and I often wonder what the difference is. The only similarity between us is our colour! Oh and from what I could understand for the humans, her character...apparently she's a cheeky monkey like me!
Mummy is going to draw Ella later, as soon as she has, I will post the picture for you all to see! I can't wait to meet up with her again, I have some naughty jokes to tell her! I wonder if she eats bones like we do? If she does, how does she hold them? is it more difficult with her little legs, or does her mummy get her special small bones? How fast can she run? would she be able to come riding with Mouse and I? I could show her how to jump plough furrows, then we would have races... I have lots of things I will have to ask her next time we meet.
Pop's xx
