Hi Folks!
How is everyone?
We are all well. Apparently we are going to relocate! Mummy has been decorating the house ready for people to come round for viewings. (Hurry told me that means people coming to see if they would like to like here and also means we will be getting a new kennel and run)
I knew something was happening, Chris is hardly at home at the moment and mummy keeps putting us in the stable kennel during the day. There have been a couple of strangers here come to think of it, one couple even brough their dog with them. We had a great time playing chase and tumble in the fields while the couple asked questions about the neighbours. Now it all makes sense!
Lordy told me off today, he said I should stop play fighting with Mouse so much, I might pick up more if I was quiet! Harumph!!! he's a grumpy old bugger, I responded by telling him that as he spent so much time lying about what did he need me to listen in for? Mouse gave me a dig in the ribs so I stopped myself and sat quiet. Lordy sighed and waddled back to his basket, after two circles, he sat himself down with a groan and lay is old head on his front paws as if in deep thought. Mouse took me on one side and told me why she had stopped me going on. Apparently, Lordy used to be very good at information gathering and could always be relied upon to keep the rest of the house up to date on changes. Unfortunately as age has crept up he has been nodding off and regularly misses bits. He is very sad about getting old and Mouse suggested that we should do our best to make things easier and support him. One day I too will be a little old lady and only then will I fully understand. At this point my mind started to wander, I hoped that when the time comes I might get one of those little coats and a blanket on the parcel shelf in the car. Apparently mummys beloved terriers Yoda and Bovril were chauffered around like royalty, even spoilt with waterproof jackets in winter!
Anyway, I have digressed fro the changes afoot...
Chris now works full time in Suffolk, Mouse has already been there to work, she told me the place is full of 'yummy' deer and that she could be a very busy dog. I hope this doesnt mean me being left at home all the time with 'snoring' Lordy and endless tales of shooting, pheasants, partridges, the differnces, how to push the birds yadder yadder....Oh please no....
Mummy is hoping to get a job near to Chris, when she finds one we are all going to live in a three bedroomed flint cottage in the woods, it sounds amazing lots of woods and tracks to explore!
