Hi All,
Before I start, I have to tell you all that I was in the dog house this morning, but more about that in a moment.
Mummy was up early again to take us for our walk, we ended up soaking wet from running around in the long grass which was heavily weighed down by rain drops. We were also taken us down the yard this morning so we could mooch about while mummy tidied up the muck heap. She seemed to be shoveling poo for ages, people do the strangest things. When she had finished the heap, it was all tidy in two very neat steps, very useful for me. The muck heap is a fantastic place for me, i use it as my surveying platform to watch for pheasants and bunnies. It is also useful for Mouse to bury her bones, this is a very smelly job and I usually avoid her when she decides on the muck heap as her chosen hiding place. I wont go into detail abut her whiskery beak after doing this, Urgh!
After the muck was stacked to satisfaction and the horses had been checked, we went in for breakfast. Mummy fed us earlier today, she said it would keep us out of mischief. That's what she thinks!
While she was in the shower, (after playing my growling trick with Hurry and Mouse who were waiting for me to leave my breakfast), I decided to see what was on the work surface while they 'scoffed' what I had left. Mouse can be so un-lady like sometimes, Hurry's eating habbits are a bad influence as they both see who can eat the fastest now. So rough! Anyway, once on the work top I found a box of matches, they were in a tatty old box which smelt nice, I took these and put them in my house, I went back for the role of sticky tape which I had spied earlier and asked Mouse which of the two she would like to play with. Mouse wasn't interested and told me that I should have been a lurcher! (meaning theif) Don't know what a lurcher is. Will have to have a word with Lordy later on....
Catch you later when I know!
